I wanted to take a moment to thank you for creating Pregnant Earth .com.
I am a Doula. Protecting the birth memory is so important for the couple expecting. I believe that this begins during pregnancy. I also believe that the experience, of the pregnancy and birth, have an impact on generations to come.
Recently I was working with a Mom to be. I was searching for a way to help her embrace the beauty of her pregnancy. I opened the pregnantearth.com web site and I knew the pregnancy art was the answer. I gave her the website and simply said "Tell me what you think." Hours later, she was saying, "I love it!" As we talked about each artist and what we liked, she and I shared our appreciation, and so much more. We learned about each other too.
I wanted to give her encouragement for the days ahead. I ordered the card of the artist she had admired the most. On our next scheduled meeting time I looked forward to seeing her smile, as she recieved her gift. We met, talked about Birth Plans, questions,and concerns. All was going well. "I have something for you" I said. She said "That's funny because I have something for you too!" I had chosen her favorite artist and yes....she had chosen mine! What a blessing.
Never have I seen a young woman blossom and embrace Motherhood so fully. I do believe that the artists gifts and your willingness to bless us with them, made a difference to this young Mother, and to Me.
